Directions to Camp
From Seattle/Portland
YMCA Camp Seymour is located approximately one hour south of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, and 1 hour north of Olympia, Washington. From Seattle, drive south on Interstate 5 past the Tacoma Dome (it will be on your right), and take the Highway 16 exit to Gig Harbor. From Portland, drive north on Interstate 5 and take the Highway 16 exit to Gig Harbor. Then follow the "from Tacoma" directions below.
From Tacoma
Follow Highway 16 west through Tacoma and over the Narrows Bridge. Past Gig Harbor, take the Purdy Exit (Exit 132 - Route 302 West). At the first stoplight, turn left across the Purdy Bridge. Continue on this road (Key Peninsula Highway) toward Key Center for approximately 5.5 miles. Turn left at the sign for YMCA Camp Seymour onto 134th Avenue. Follow 134th for about two miles (134th will become Cramer Road) and turn left onto Thomas Road. (The sign below sits in the "Y" of this intersection). The entrance to camp is immediately on your right. Please drive slowly-the speed limit is 5 MPH. Private vehicles are not permitted in main camp.
From Bremerton
Take Highway 3 south to Highway 16 East. Follow Highway 16 East to the Purdy Exit. Take this exit, and at the second stoplight turn right and cross the Purdy Bridge. Continue on this road (Key Peninsula Highway) toward Key Center for approximately 5.5 miles. Turn left at the sign for YMCA Camp Seymour onto 134th Avenue. Follow 134th for about two miles (134th will become Cramer Road) and turn left onto Thomas Road. The entrance to camp is immediately on your right. Please drive slowly-the speed limit is 5 MPH.
