Frequently Asked Questions

What are the sleeping arrangements and what if I have a bunkmate request?

Participants enjoy our heated cabins with indoor plumbing. These cabins sleep up to 14 people, but we usually only assign 7 to 10 people per cabin. You should bring your own sleeping bag and pillow or linens. If you are attending WWW with a friend, just let us know. There is a field for cabin mate requests on both our online registration and the printable registration form. If you have four or more bunkmate requests, we recommend you create a group name and enter that group name when you register (instead of all of your friends' names). Examples of group names are "Your Town's Book Club" or "the Blue Dragons."

What’s the food like? What if I have special dietary needs?

The food at Women's Wellness Weekend is the most adult friendly food we serve. In addition to the hot buffet, we also have a fruit bar and cereal at every breakfast and a salad bar and soup at every lunch and dinner. If you have special dietary needs, we are well equipped to accommodate vegetarians and those with food allergies, including gluten allergies. Be sure to notify us of your dietary need when you register. If you have any questions about the menu or how we can accommodate your dietary need, please feel free to contact us.

How do I check-in when I arrive for the weekend?

When you drive to Camp, be sure to park in our main parking lot. There our staff will greet you, give you your cabin assignment, and deliver your luggage to your cabin. Since we do offer luggage service, one or two larger bags are much easier for us to move than lots of little ones. When packing your bedding, keep in mind that we are in Washington and it often rains. We do everything we can to take care of your luggage, but remember that we will be transferring your luggage in the outdoors. Once you have passed your luggage to us, head down to the Dining Hall. There you will finish the check-in process, get schedules and eat dinner. By the time you're done with dinner, your luggage will have been delivered to your cabin!

What are the activities? How do I sign up for classes?

At WWW, we offer a variety of camp activities, wellness and group fitness classes, and other games and classes. Camp activities are often "drop-in" (meaning you can stop by and participate in these activities at anytime while they are open) and they include archery, climbing on our 37 foot climbing wall, kayaking, arts and crafts and more. Group fitness classes range from yoga to cardio to Zumba. In the past, we've offered financial planning classes, meditation, keynote speakers and more. These classes start and end at a designated time. There is no sign-up for these, but we ask that you arrive promptly if you plan on participating in these sessions. A few activities, like the high-ropes course sessions and big canoe trips will have signups. We will post the sign-ups on Friday night after dinner. On Saturday night, we provide a shuttle service to off-site wine tasting in nearby Key Center. There are also a variety of group games, icebreakers and other fun activities that help strengthen friendships and create new ones.

What should I pack or bring? Do I need to bring money?

A packing list is included in your registration packet, which you will receive in the mail after you register. We have already booked sunshine for the weekend; however, it's always a good idea to pack raingear and an extra pair of shoes in case it rains. Also remember to pack linens or a sleeping bag and at least one towel. While it is optional to bring money, there are some activities that cost a little extra. The offsite wine tasting is $4 per person. Additionally, massage sessions are available throughout the weekend and the camp store and camp espresso stand will also be open.
