Resident Camp

We've heard what you've been saying!

We are working on a new plan to make camp affordable to ALL families for 2010. Dates for 2010 are listed below and rates will be available soon. We are amending the schedule this summer. Sunday check-ins will be earlier, to allow for cabin group/units to start making some new friendships happen. All sessions (except Wed. Pioneers) will now end with a campfire on Friday afternoon (parents invited), and a family BBQ. Visit our  Changes for Summer 2010 page to learn more about the changes for summer 2010.

Life at Resident Camp

Campers live in a cabin or yurt while at camp, with a single-sex group of children who are similar in age and 1-2 adult staff. Cabins have electricity, heat, and bathrooms; yurts have electricity, with a separate bathroom building nearby. Campers eat meals in our Dining Hall, with multiple options at each meal. For example, a typical breakfast includes pancakes and sausage as the hot option served family style at the table, with cereal, oatmeal, fruit, and yogurt available on the buffet bar. Cabin groups spend one night sleeping outside and enjoying a dinner and breakfast cookout.

Traditional Overnight Camp
Programs are arranged by age group and grade:

Pioneers for beginner campers entering grades 1-3 offers short stays at camp and staff specially selected for this younger age group.

Traditional Overnight Camp campers entering grades 3-9 experience one full week at camp and choose from a wide range of camp activities. (Campers will be designated to Unit 1, Unit 2, Unit 3 or Unit 4 when they arrive at camp- based on grade and enrollment.)

Adventurer is a two week session for seasoned or older campers entering grades 7-8.
